Well first of all, anon is missing the entire point of this show. The idea is NOT to take it seriously. It’s a show that makes fun of metal and its culture, stereotypes, etc.
Second of all, where are all these teenagers at? Most of the people I know from fandom are my age if not older. Y’know, all the ones who “just see a bunch of hot guys that totally have buttsex with each other.” Dude if you don’t like it, DON’T LOOK AT IT. Why is that so hard to comprehend?
Don’t mean to go on a rant and I’m not butthurt, I just think anon doesn’t get it, is all.
A. It’s a comedy. Despite its dark overtones it’s not supposed to be SRS BZNS
B. A lot of teenage girls (and older female fans) like the show for the same reason as the teen/older male viewers. They like it because it’s a funny show about metal
C. If they’re in it for the buttsex, who cares
aside from you, o confession maker? They’re in the same boat as male fans who sexualize female characters in cartoon shows. So if fandudes can have their fun, then the fangirls should be able to do the same. Just scroll past what you don’t like and don’t paint everyone in the fandom with the same brush, and everything will be a lot cooler ;)
